The sportsmen’s club has 3 firearms ranges available for it’s members. They include a pistol range, a rifle range, and a DIY shotgun range. See below for details.
Please NOTE: All shooters must abide by the general club rules
The pistol range is located immediately east of the rifle range. You can enter the range via the steps. The range consists of an earthen backstop at 25 yards from the firing line. The handgun house contains four covered firing stations.
Do-It-Yourself Shotgun Range:
The DIY shotgun range is located immediately east of the pistol range. Shooters are encouraged to bring there own clay pigeon thrower (hand or automatic), a box of clay targets, and to make themselves comfortable on the concrete patio. Targets should be thrown towards the brush just south of the patio.
Check out the new auto-thrower. You must watch this video before using it.
The rifle range consists of target boards and earthen backstops at 50, 100, 200 and 300 yards. The shooting is done from six concrete benches with adjustable steel seats. The entire firing line is housed for protection from the elements.
The range includes metal gongs at 200 and 300 yards. You can spray-paint these before shooting to both see and hear your hits.
